Director's Bio


Liliana Greenfield-Sanders is a filmmaker living in New York City. Born and raised on the lower East Side of Manhattan, Liliana has worked for Anthology Film Archives and Fine Line Features, as well as on proujects for Perfect Day Films Inc. and Maysles Films Inc. She graduated with honors from the Art-Semiotics department at Brown University. Her first film, "Ghosts of Grey Gardens" premiered at the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival, made its television debut on PBS' ReelNY series, and has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art. She just completed a narrative short film based on Truman Capote’s short story “Miriam” starring Marian Seldes.
